NBA DFS Breakdown October 30th

With NBA in particular the longer you wait and the closer to lock your game theory is, the more accurate and powerful the analysis will be. With late-swap back in the picture, some of the best lineup decisions you will ever make can happen with mere minutes before lock.. Top-Tier Targets

Joel Embiid ($9700 DK, $10,800 FD): My favorite expensive player on the slate. Embiid’s per minute averages since he’s come into the league are out of this world. I’m not sure if this man is capable of putting up a dud, as long as he is physically able to partipcate in the game itself. Look for a competitive game here as these are two of the East’s best.

Chris Paul ($9300 DK, $9600 FD): Harden is still out with a hamstring injury, and CP3’s usage should be at its season high. The Blazers are coming off of a back-to-back, and this is only a 4-point spread so look for this one to stay competitive, and if Houston wins it should be on the back of a huge CP3 games.

Other options to consider:

Damian Lillard, John Wall

Mid-Tier Value Picks:

Buddy Hield ($5500 DK, $6600 FD): Always target guards against the Magic. Buddy is coming off of his best game of the season against the Heat last night, so the Kings have been in Florida for a few days. His price inexplicably remained the same in a much better matchup.

Nicholas Batum ($5200 DK, $6300 FD): I feel like I’ve been writing about Batum more than anyone this season, for some strange reason, but the truth is he is simply too cheap. The man looks healthier than he has in a long time, and should be relied upon for upwards of 34 minutes tonight against the strong wing-players on the Heat.

Other options to consider:

Cedi Osman, Carmelo Anthony, Kent Bazemore

Cheap Punt Plays:

Collin Sexton ($4000 DK, $4800 FD): Tyronn Lue was recently fired due to his lack of minutes given to rookie Sexton vs Jr Smith and Kyle Korver who combine for over 70 years old! Point being, look for Sexton to receive plenty of run from interim caretakers, and look for him and Osman to receive usage boosts with Kevin Love out for a month.

Pascal Siakam ($3900 DK, $4400 FD): He set career highs in his last game and has started 6 of the past 7 games. Siakam definitely benefitted from OG and Kawhi both sitting last game, but he is on the rise for sure, and at 3900 only needs about 18 points to really pay off value.

Other options to consider:

Miles Bridges, Jerian Grant, Gerald Green

Injury News I’m Waiting On:

1.     De’Aaron Fox

2.     Fred VanVleet

3.     Kelly Oubre Jr

4.     Nerlens Noel

5.     Steven Adams
