CFB Against the Spread Picks Week 11

After a 2-0 day yesterday in the NBA I am shifting my focus to College Football. There are a handful of games today I love.

Also my number one piece of advice is DON’T RISK MONEY YOU DON’T HAVE!

Let’s get started (****all spread are as of this writing****)

Ohio State (-3.5) over Michigan State

Ohio State has had a tumultuous season off the field, which we won’t get into, and that has seemingly turned into struggling on the field at times this year including a blowout road loss at Purdue a couple weeks ago. Despite all of that they still have the Playoffs in their site. I’m looking for them to get up and cover in their first single digit spread game of the year.

Michigan State on the other hand has a big win at Penn State on their belt, but with each passing week that win is looking less and less impressive. Their only real test at home came when “big brother” Michigan came to East Lansing and won convincingly. I expect Ohio State to have similar success.

Tennessee (+4.5) over Kentucky

Kentucky is the surprise of the college football season (with exception to my Syracuse Orange). They had a chance last week at home against Georgia to control their own destiny in winning the SEC East. Georgia came to Lexington and won handily. I’m expecting Kentucky to come out flat this week in Knoxville after all the emotions heading into last week. The Volunteers still have a shot at a bowl game this year so at least they have that to fight for.

Notre Dame (-16) over Florida State

Florida State is one of the worst Power 5 teams in all of college football this year. Period. Notre Dame is starting Brandon Wimbush this week over the injured Ian Book which is why I guess the spread is even this close. Wimbush was the starter last year and for the opening couple of games this year with Notre Dame at home looking to build their Playoff resume. This game won’t be close. Florida State is 4-5 with three of their four wins coming in home games to Samford, Northern Illinois, Wake Forest and a road win against 2-8 Louisville.

Their losses home by 21 against Va Tech, 23 on road against Syracuse, 1 at Miami, 49 against Clemson, and 19 at NC State.

Again, this game won’t be close
