With NBA in particular the longer you wait and the closer to lock your game theory is, the more accurate and powerful the analysis will be. Top-Tier Targets (Small Slate)

Kevin Durant ($11,200 DK, $11,800 FD): Coming off of his 11th career triple-double, KD will be counted on to pick up the scoring slack yet again on Tuesday as Curry is still recovering. It is a B2B after an OT game last night, so be somewhat cautious however it’s a relatively small slate without many top-notch options. The Warriors don’t lose back to back games very often, if at all, and the Hawks aren’t very good so there is some blowout risk, however KD was very low-owned last night and could be slightly lower-owned tonight as well.

Nikola Jokic ($9400 DK, $9700 FD): Probably the most competitive game of the evening, Jokic should excel in the fast pace and could easily be the high-scorer of the night. He did very well in a home W against Houston last season, and will look to be a focal-point of the gameplay again tonight against the short-handed Rockets. Juancho Hernangomez is also getting the start, and will be a very popular value play this evening.

Other options to consider:

James Harden

Mid-Tier Value Picks:

Larry Nance Jr. ($5200 DK, $5900 FD): Coming off of his first start of the year, Nance picked up right where he left off last season when he was acquired from the Lakers and filled up the stat-sheet with 14 rebounds and 4 blocks. Osman is set to miss the game tonight as well, so look for Nance to be plugged right back in the starting five and exceeding the 30-minute mark again. Slight blowout risk here for sure, however it’s a small slate with not many options for various without being contrarian just for the sake of it.

Quinn Cook ($5500 DK, $5800 FD): Coming off a major stinker last night, I like Cook to rebound tonight against a sub-par Atlanta defensive unit. Curry is out again, therefore Cook will be starting. Livingston is in fact back which will definitely cut into his minutes, however Cook is pretty safe for Cash tonight.

Other options to consider:

Jordan Clarkson, Taurean Prince

Cheap Punt Plays:

Gary Clark ($3700 DK, $5100 FD): Melo is done, PJ Tucker is questionable, and Gerald Green has already been ruled out. Clark should see ample minutes tonight due to a lack of manpower and is a safe play for Cash, I wouldn’t mind fading him in GPP however.

Juancho Hernangomez ($3800 DK, $3800 FD): He is officially back in the starting five and looks much more like the player we first saw his rookie year. Great play because of the price, however definitely another candidate for fading in tournaments.

Other options to consider:

Miles Bridges, Alex Len, Willy Hernangomez

Injury News I’m Waiting On:
