NBA DFS Breakdown November 16th

With NBA in particular the longer you wait and the closer to lock your game theory is, the more accurate and powerful the analysis will be. With late-swap back in the picture, some of the best lineup decisions you will ever make can happen with mere minutes before lock.. Top-Tier Targets

Joel Embiid ($10,500 DK, $ FD): His usage may have been lower than we’re used to, however the arrival of Jimmy Butler certainly didn’t seem to impact the efficiency for Mr. Embiid. At this point I don’t care who the opponent is, The Process has an awesomely large chip on his shoulder and he goes out there trying to embarrass his matchup every night which I absolutely love from both a competitive, and a DFS standpoint.

Karl-Anthony Towns ($9600 DK, $ FD): Keeping this writeup short and sweet today because it’s a little late, but the Big Kat has been on fire since the departure of Jimmy Butler and combining two stud Centers is my favorite move in GPP tonight, rather than paying up for Giannis in a probable blowout.

Other options to consider:

Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard

Mid-Tier Value Picks:

Dwight Howard ($5700 DK, $ FD): Jarrett Allen will most likely miss this game, and RHJ is also questionable which leaves the Nets big-men as Quincy Acy and Ed Davis. Needless to say, Dwight is underpriced for that matchup and the Nets haven’t looked quite the same since losing Levert to injury.

Gordon Hayward ($5400 DK, $ FD): His minutes limit was officially taken off during their road-trip, and Hayward should see his price start steadily creeping up for the next few weeks to match his talent. They won by 30 in his last game, and he still managed 28 minutes on the floor. Hayward is safe for Cash, but his ceiling is somewhat limited in GPP due to his team’s depth.

Other options to consider:

Jaren Jackson Jr, Jabari Parker

Cheap Punt Plays:

Allonzo Trier ($4200 DK, $ FD): He’s getting the start tonight in a fast-paced, high-scoring matchup with the Pelicans and should log heavy minutes. Fizdale has an annoying habit of riding the hot-hand, however Allonzo has looked like a steal this year and should have hot enough hands to get significant run.

DeMarre Carroll ($4000 DK, $ FD): Allen has been ruled in, however RHJ has been ruled out and Carroll should continue to see his minutes rise as he comes back from injury this offseason. $4K is too cheap for this former all-star, and his price will most likely be around $6K when he is in peak-form.

Other options to consider:

Kevin Knox, Shelvin Mack

Injury News I’m Waiting On:

1.     Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

2.     Jarrett Allen

3.     Elfrid Payton

4.     Derrick Rose
