NBA DFS Breakdown November 19th

With NBA in particular the longer you wait and the closer to lock your game theory is, the more accurate and powerful the analysis will be. Top-Tier Targets

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,300 DK, $11,500 FD): I haven’t written about Giannis that much this season, but that’s mainly been due to his price generally being north of $11K in matchups against sub-par Eastern competition. Tonight however, is different as one of the best teams in the West comes to town in what should be a fast-paced, high-scoring affair. Giannis almost triple-doubled eight days ago in Denver, and I would expect the Nuggets to have the same issues defending him tonight.

Joel Embiid ($11,100 DK, $11,500 FD): A daily appearance for this man in all of my writeups, Embiid is just a GPP play tonight due to the probability of a blowout in this one. I didn’t want to leave him off of the list today though as he should absolutely eat Deandre Ayton for dinner during the time The Process is actually on the court this evening.

Paul George ($10,400 DK, $10,000 FD): Assuming Brodie is still out, PG13 will continue his torrid stretch of play in another fast-paced matchup with the not-so-good defensively Kings. His usage has been north of 32, and the Thunder have now won ten of their past eleven games.

Other options to consider:

Blake Griffin, DeRozan

Mid-Tier Value Picks:

DeAaron Fox ($6100 DK, $7800 FD): One of the most-improved players this season, Fox has shown no signs of regression and should continue to run the show in what should be a very high-scoring and fast-paced matchup with the streaking Thunder. The Kings always play the Thunder well, and this one should be a competitive matchup with plenty of fantasy goodness.

Rudy Gay ($5300 DK, $5900 FD): White had a horrendous +/- so Popp made the decision to replace him with Rudy Gay in the starting five. This will continue tonight as Rudy is needed to matchup with the Pelicans and should present some nice upside at this price.

Shae Gilgeous-Alexander ($5300 DK, $6000 FD): He will most likely stick in the starting five for the rest of the season and has shown flashes of being a very good player in the Association for many years to come. Also, whenever the Hawks are in town it is a good opportunity to get going offensively. I would imagine Gilgeous is somewhat blowout-proof given his rookie status and need for minutes to develop.

Other options to consider:

Collin Sexton, Gary Harris, Jeremy Lamb

Cheap Punt Plays:

Tyreke Evans ($4100 DK, $4700 FD): Oladipo has already been ruled out tonight, and Tyreke will have ample opportunity to soak up the available minutes and usage. Good for Cash and GPP tonight. I also like Sabonis, as well as Joseph to benefit from the scoring void left by Victor’s injury.

Bogdan Bogdanovich ($4000 DK, $5100 FD): His minutes continue to rise as he returns from offseason surgery, and soon enough he will retake his position in the starting five. For now, his price makes Bogdan very appealing in an up-tempo matchup with the streaking Thunder.

Other options to consider:

Marvin Bagley III, Monte Morris
