NBA DFS Breakdown November 26th

With the NBA in particular the longer you wait and the closer to lock your game theory is, the more accurate and powerful the analysis will be. With late-swap back in the picture, some of the best lineup decisions you will ever make can happen with mere minutes before lock.. Top-Tier Targets

James Harden ($11,400 DK, $11,700 FD): CP3 is questionable tonight, so Harden being my favorite tier-1 player is dependent on Paul being out. Harden has gone for 40 in two of his last three games however and looks to be fully recovered from his early season woes. Washington has been a very poor defensive team thus far, and Harden should be right near his usual 30-point triple-double line and makes for a great Cash pair with Capela, especially if CP3 is out.

Giannis Antetokounmpo ($11,600 DK, $12,700 FD): Giannis has been averaging around 33.5-14-4.5 in his last four games and will look to continue his dominance in a shootout with Kemba Walker tonight. Kemba is averaging almost 40 ppg in his last 3 games at home and makes for a good guard to run the game stack back with.

Karl-Anthony Towns ($10,000 DK, $10,800 FD):  Towns had a tough night against the Cavs earlier this year, but the Butler drama was undoubtedly a factor and over 250 points were still scored in the game. The Wolves have won 5 of 7 and will look to continue their decent play undoubtedly by running the offense through the Big Kat. Cleveland has been a bad defensive team but has been playing well enough at home to steal some wins and more importantly from a DFS standpoint, keep it competitive.

Other options to consider:

Kemba Walker, Jrue Holiday

Mid-Tier Value Picks:

Al Horford ($5400 DK, $6300 FD): Jaylen Brown is doubtful tonight, and Horford is way too cheap. There will be extra usage up for grabs due to Brown’s absence and I expect Horford to have a better night from a fg % standpoint, leading to his value being reached at some point early in the 3rd quarter.

Gordon Hayward ($5500 DK, $6400 FD): Similar logic here with Hayward as we discussed with Horford. Brown is out, usage and minutes up for grabs, and coming off of a loss the Celtics will not want to drop another on the road. Should also be well-rested after being sat on the B2B over the weekend.

Justin Holiday ($4800 DK, $5700 FD): Three Holiday brothers in the league is nuts, hats off to their father for his massively powerful sperm. Holiday has been playing very well lately and will look to continue his recent stretch of all-around stat accumulation as his minutes are trending upwards and looks to be able to be counted on for 35-40 minutes a night.

Other options to consider:

Wendell Carter Jr, Cedi Osman, Jeremy Lamb

Cheap Punt Plays:

Terry Rozier ($3900 DK, $3800 FD): Scary-Terry is always a great plug when one of Brown, Hayward, or Kyrie is out and tonight won’t be any different. His price on FD in particular is too cheap, and he shouldn’t have a problem hitting value. Smart is a good GPP pivot, and the upside is somewhat limited on both of them, however with Brown most likely missing out, Rozier should see upwards of 25 minutes off the bench.

Marvin Williams ($3700 DK, $4500 FD): In a nice little revenge narrative, Marvin had his best game of the season over the weekend in a loss to the Hawks. He double-doubled and shot a very efficient 50% from the field on his way to a 20-point night. I don’t expect that again this evening, however he obviously doesn’t need to replicate that line to pay off value.

DJ Augustin ($3800 DK, $4500 FD): When the Magic don’t get blown out, Augustin see’s between 27-32 minutes a night which is ample opportunity to pay off his salary.

Other options to consider:

Cody Zeller, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Ryan Arcidiacono
