NBA DFS Breakdown 11-28

With the NBA in particular the longer you wait and the closer to lock your game theory is, the more accurate and powerful the analysis will be. With late-swap back in the picture, some of the best lineup decisions you will ever make can happen with mere minutes before lock.. Top-Tier Targets

Russell Westbrook ($10,900 DK, $11,100 FD): Now that he’s back healthy and being fully unleashed, Russ will most likely be my favorite expensive player for the forseeable future in any situation that isn’t a very tough defensive matchup. His usage will never drop below 30 and he plays as if he has the biggest chip on his shoulder in the world. Love me some Russ for GPP tonight, tough for cash with blowout concerns.

Anthony Davis ($11,400 DK, $12,500 FD): With the highest expected over/under of the night, AD + Wall/Beal will be one of the more popular stacks this evening. Davis missed the matchup last week and Washington won by 10, tonight’s game will be more competitive and will most likely produce even more points than the 238 from last weeks showdown.

Joel Embiid ($11,200 DK, $11,100 FD): Embiid and Russ will always be two of my favorite players to build around, especially when the slate allows for both to be rostered which I don’t think will be the case for much longer. The Knicks, like many other teams, always get dominated by Joel and things won’t be any different tonight.

Other options to consider:

Kemba Walker, Giannis

Mid-Tier Value Picks:

Jusuf Nurkic ($6800 DK, $7800 FD): Call it a pride thing, but Nurkic seems to play well when matched up against other Eastern-European big-men. I don’t see tonight being any different, and as long as he doesn’t get into early foul trouble should be counted on to match up with Vucevic down low.

Larry Nance Jr ($5300 DK, $6000 FD): The Cavs are extremely banged up, as Nwaba is the latest to go down. Nance should see upwards of 38 minutes tonight, and his $5300 price on DK does not match the sort of production that should be accumulated this evening.

Otto Porter ($5900 DK, $6600 FD): Porter had his best game of the season last week in this exact matchup and presents as good way to get some exposure to the highest over/under on the slate without having to break the bank for AD, Wall, or Beal. His minutes, production, and price have been trending upwards as well before this game tonight.

Other options to consider:

Nikola Mirotic, John Collins, Enes Kanter, Harrell

Cheaper/Punt Value Targets:

Wilson Chandler ($3600 DK, $4500 FD): Chandler is a starter for a very fast-paced, high-scoring offense (76ers) so I’m not entirely sure why his price isn’t at least $4K on DK. Yes he is the fourth or fifth option most of the time that he is on the floor, however when a player is receiving upwards of 35 minutes a night and has the scoring track record that Chandler has, I believe his price should be a minimum of $4K if not higher and will be soon enough.

Malik Monk ($3300 DK, $3900 FD): Targeting the Hawks bench and the horrid defense of Jeremy Lin is a strategy I definitely recommend. Not only does this matchup have a chance to be a blowout in which Monk receives plenty of extended minutes, but also even if it is a perfectly competitive game Monk should have no problem paying off his very low price as well as allowing you to roster AD, Russ, or Embiid.

Allonzo Trier ($3800 DK, $3700 FD): There aren’t many declarations that can be made about Fizdale’s rotation, but one thing that is apparent at this point is that regardless of his starting-status Trier will get plenty of minutes and opportunity to produce. Fire him up in GPP tonight.

Other options to consider:

Jonathan Simmons, Mikal Bridges
