NBA DFS Breakdown November 7th

With NBA in particular the longer you wait and the closer to lock your game theory is, the more accurate and powerful the analysis will be. With late-swap back in the picture, some of the best lineup decisions you will ever make can happen with mere minutes before lock.. Top-Tier Targets

LeBron James ($11,000 DK, $11,800 FD): In my opinion, there have been very few nights so far this season where the 10-11k studs are really hitting or exceeding their value. The over/under in this one is almost 240 which is the highest on the night, therefore I will have some LeBron exposure for sure in Cash but probably not much GPP. His usage is nowhere near what I think it should be to justify his price, however I prefer LeBron to AD tonight.

Paul George ($9100 DK, $10,200 FD): Probably my top play of the night, Cleveland has been atrocious defensively this season and they have been getting blown out left and right, however Westbrook will miss the game tonight with a badly sprained ankle and PG13 will be asked to do the heavy lifting. I think this one stays close long enough for PG and Schroder to exceed their values and will definitely be playing both in GPP’s. Stack the game and run it back wit JR Smith or George Hill.

Donovan Mitchell ($7400 DK, $8500 FD): Probable tonight after missing the last two with a hamstring issue, Mitchell will be going up against the Mavs on a b2b. His usage has been in the mid-to-low 30’s consistently this season, and I don’t expect that to change tonight. He is someone who is standing out to me in my projections, and I will look to use him in both Cash and GPP tonight.

Other options to consider:

Joel Embiid, Kawhi Leonard

Mid-Tier Value Picks

Taurean Prince ($5900 DK, $6800 FD): The Hawks are on a b2b, however Prince was held out of the game for a minor injury last night and should be very fresh tonight. He went for 21 points, 6 boards, and 6 steals earlier this season against New York and should be posting much of the same tonight. Hardaway is not on the injury report and should be deployed as usual which should hopefully lead to this being a high-scoring, back-and-forth affair that stays competitive throughout til the end.

Derrick Rose ($5600 DK, $5500 FD): This is dependent on Teague missing the game, however my ownership will be with Rose over Tyus Jones tonight now that his ankle is healed. This matchup has the highest implied point total, and the pace at which these teams will be playing fits right into where Rose thrives. Rose and Towns make for a nice correlation play, especially if. Jimmy Butler sits for some reason.

Other options to consider:

Kent Bazemore, Jabari Parker, DeAaron Fox

Cheap Punt Plays

George Hill ($4000 DK, $5400 FD): This game should be one of the faster-paced matchups of the night and even though Cavs management has expressed their desire to develop Colin Sexton, they have also come to the conclusion that he looks “lost” out there and doesn’t know how to properly involve his teammates. Harsh comments, but the truth is that JR Smith, Tristan Thompson, and George Hill have been putting up some great stats together with Love out and that should continue tonight.

Kevin Knox/ Mario Hezonja ($3800/3900 DK, $3900/4200 FD): It’s becoming a theme to target the bench of whoever is playing the Hawks as they will most likely get extra run due to the blowout that will undoubtedly ensue. Knox is the favorite here as he is the prized first round rookie, however Mario is the better scorer and isn’t coming off injury.

Other options to consider:

Frank Ntilikina, Davis Bertans, JR Smith
