NBA DFS Breakdown 12/1/18

With the NBA in particular the longer you wait and the closer to lock your game theory is, the more accurate and powerful the analysis will be. With late-swap back in the picture, some of the best lineup decisions you will ever make can happen with mere minutes before lock.. Top-Tier Targets

James Harden ($11,900 DK, $11,900 FD): Harden has been playing as well as anyone in the Association, and I have a sneaky suspicion D’Antoni will rest CP3 on the back end of a back-to-back against opposition they shouldn’t have a difficult time dispatching. Harden and Capela are one of the most positive correlations in NBA DFS and will be in both Cash and GPP lines for me tonight if CP3 does in fact sit out. When Paul was out last week, Harden posted usages between an eye-popping 42.7 to 47.4!

Blake Griffin ($9300 DK, $9200 FD): I called my shot on the Drummond 20-20 game in yesterday’s writeup, and today I believe will be a Blake Griffin night. With Steph Curry most likely making his return, the pace will get significantly faster which favors Griffin’s crazy-athletic style of play over Drummond’s big-man dominance in the post. Both make for good plays this evening however Griffin will score more fantasy points.

Other options to consider:

Clint Capela, Andre Drummond, Karl-Anthony Towns

Mid-Tier Value Picks:

Spencer Dinwiddie ($6300 DK, $6400 FD): The way Dinwiddie plays against the Wizards is one of the main reasons I am a firm believer in revenge narratives existing in the NBA. Although that is certainly a positive in my opinion, he will also benefit from the absence of Joe Harris tonight, and should see extended run along with DeMarre Carroll, and possibly Shabazz Napier.

De’Aaron Fox ($6900 DK, $7900 FD): With Bogdan returning to the good form and health he demonstrated last season, there aren’t many players in Dave Joeger’s rotation who can be relied upon from a DFS standpoint; Fox is one of the few who we can rely on. Fire him up against the lackluster, Oladipo-less Pacers tonight.

Other options to consider:

Marvin Bagley III, Jeff Teague, Bogdan Bogdanovich

Cheap Punt Plays:

DeMarre Carroll ($3400 DK, $3600 FD): Joe Harris was ruled out last night and will also miss tonight’s tilt. Atkinson has been talking Carroll up and his desire for the team to improve its rebounding overall. That, as well as the fact that Carroll is someone the Nets will want to showcase to the rest of the league for a potential midseason trade to a contender, possibly Houston. He also accrued his first double-double of the season last night against a much tougher defense.

Shabazz Napier ($3200 DK, $3700 FD): Same reasons as Carroll. Coming off a monster game against a significantly better defensive unit last night.

Other options to consider:

Tomas Satoransky, James Ennis, Bruce Brown, Reggie Bullock
