NBA DFS Breakdown 1/16/19

With the NBA in particular the longer you wait and the closer to lock your game theory is, the more accurate and powerful the analysis will be. With late-swap back in the picture, some of the best lineup decisions you will ever make can happen with mere minutes before lock. Top-Tier Targets

James Harden ($13,000 DK, $14,000 FD): Keep an eye on Eric Gordon’s status, but at the moment only the return of CP3 will really make me consider fading Harden due to the price. For now, stick with him in all formats.

Anthony Davis ($11,800 DK, $13,700 FD): At least 30 points and 13 rebounds in his last four, two of which were blowouts. Will bring his A-game against the champs.

Kevin Durant ($9800 DK, $10,400 FD): GSW is catching fire, everyone is healthy, and exposure to this matchup is a must for cash.

Other options to consider:

Steph Curry, Damian Lillard, Nikola Vucevic

Mid-Tier Value Picks:

Klay Thompson ($6500 DK, $7400 FD): 30+ points in 3 of his past 4 games, shooting lights-out in what should be the matchup with the most implied points this evening.

Jaren Jackson Jr. ($5600 DK, $6600 FD): His minutes have been somewhat sporadic due to some blowouts and foul-trouble however his peripheral stats give him a high ceiling every night.

Dennis Smith Jr. ($4500 DK, $5300 FD): Questionable with illness, too cheap if he plays as he is expected to.

Other options to consider:

Evan Fournier, Reggie Jackson, Al Horford

Cheap Punt Plays:

Ish Smith ($3300 DK, $4100 FD): Too cheap as well as a plus-matchup.

Garrett Temple ($3700 DK, $4100 FD): Seems to be blowout-proof and one of Coach’s favorites due to his above-average defense. More for Cash due to low-ceiling.

Ed Davis ($3600 DK, $4100 FD): Houston is very thin up-front as well as the fact that Davis should presumably dominate the bench-bigs who are essentially G-League starters.

Other options to consider:

Jevon Carter, Jonas Jerebko, Jae Crowder
