NBA DFS Breakdown January 5th, 2019

With the NBA in particular the longer you wait and the closer to lock your game theory is, the more accurate and powerful the analysis will be. With late-swap back in the picture, some of the best lineup decisions you will ever make can happen with mere minutes before lock. Top-Tier Targets

James Harden ($12,200 DK, $13,000 FD): I will continue to take Harden in every format until CP3 returns, or his price hits 13K.

Joel Embiid ($10,800 DK, $11,500 FD): Assuming Jimmy Butler is still out, Embiid’s usage will skyrocket again. Nothing solves the problem of drama more than winning.

Damian Lillard ($8600 DK, $9000 FD): Expect a bounce back from last night’s underperformance and makes for a good run-it-back option with Harden.

Other options to consider:

Kevin Durant/Steph Curry, Ben Simmons, Kawhi Leonard

Mid-Tier Value Picks:

Tristan Thompson ($5600 DK, $6100 FD): His size will be sorely needed to match up with the Pelicans big men and his price was well on the rise prior to injury.

Bogdan Bogdanovic ($5600 DK, $6300 FD): Didn’t play very well last time GSW came to town, the minutes were there though and should bounce back tonight at a cheaper price.

Kyle Anderson ($4900 DK, $6100 FD): Coming off another triple-double, returns to SA for ‘revenge’ tonight at a very reasonable price.

Other options to consider:

Reggie Jackson, E’twuan Moore, Willie Cauley-Stein, Elfrid Payton

Cheap Punt Plays:

Reggie Bullock ($3900 DK, $4200 FD): Minutes are trending down, but still managing around 3 three’s and a couple assists/rebounds per game in 26-30 minutes per game.

Delon Wright ($3300 DK, $3800 FD): Dependent on Kyle Lowry still missing out.

Other options to consider:

Wes Matthews, Cedi Osman
