Goalie Target

Braden Holtby(DK - $8,300 FD - $8,600)

I know it probably seems odd paying up for a struggling goalie(4-5-1, .913 save % last 10) but hear me out. First of all, Holtby is a proven #1 goalie and has been better on home ice this season but what really stands out is the matchup. He and the Caps are huge -300 home favorites tonight and while the Sens rank 12th on offense, they just finished trading away their top three scorers in Matt Duchene, Ryan Dzingle, and Mark Stone. All things considered, Holtby is a great play tonight in all formats.

Also Consider: Curtis McElhinney(CAR) as a -240 favorite against a Kings team that ranks 30th on offense

Center Target

Dylan Larkin(DK - $6,900 FD - $7,500)

Like he has so many times this season, Larkin will lead my core plays at the center position. Even if you are not a fan of the Red Wings you have to respect what he is doing this season on bottom ranked offense and rebuilding team. He comes into tonight with 12 points in his last 10 games with a whopping 42 shots while averaging around 22 minutes of ice-time. As the 7th and 8th most expensive option on DraftKings and FanDuel, Larkin is a core play in all formats for me tonight and is likely to be facing Habs backup Antti Niemi as they are playing on a back to back and third game in four nights.

Also Consider: Evgeny Kuznetsov(WSH) who centers the top line and powerplay unit with Ovechkin and gets an elite matchup against the Sens 30th ranked defenes

Wing Target

Patrik Laine(DK - $6,100 FD - $6,700)

Laine is one of the most streak players in the league and after a long drought is finally heating up again. He has scored three times in his last two games while recording a whopping 11 shots on goal. That shot volume is one thing he has provided consistently this season as he sits with an elite 11.7 shots/60 and 22.1 iCorsi/60 on the season. The Wild are a good defensive team and have won three in a row but Laine is currently a buy-low and with his high floor and ceiling is safe in all formats.

Also Consider: Cam Atkinson(CBJ), Zach Aston-Reese(PIT)

Defense Target

Ryan Pulock(DK - $4,900 FD - $4,700)

Another buy-low play for me tonight is Ryan Pulock who is sub $5K on both sites. He has been consistent all season averaging four combined shots/blocks per game and has been even better lately with eight points, 26 shots, and 18 blocks over his last 10 games for an average of 4.2 DK/14.2 FD points per game. He is producing like a mid $5K-$6K player so fire him up in all formats.

Also Consider: Shea Weber(MON), Travis Hamonic(CGY)
