NBA DFS Breakdown 3/13/19

With the NBA in particular the longer you wait and the closer to lock your game theory is, the more accurate and powerful the analysis will be. With late-swap back in the picture, some of the best lineup decisions you will ever make can happen with mere minutes before lock. Top-Tier Targets

Russell Westbrook ($11,000 DK, $11,700 FD): Highest implied scoring total on the slate, not much needs to be written to justify Westbrook on any given night, however the Nets have been playing very well offensively and this has the potential for a shootout.

James Harden ($11,200 DK, $12,200 FD): Houston seems to care a lot more about beating the Warriors than any other team, which makes sense given that they are the two-time defending champs. Houston is on a 9-game winning streak and I would expect the Beard to bring out all the tricks this evening and potentially be the highest scorer on the slate if the Warriors can keep it competitive.

Mid-Tier Value Picks:

Avery Bradley ($4800 DK, $6000 FD): Plus matchup going up against Huerter and the Hawks. Memphis usually likes to play slow but will probably have to match the Hawks faster-pace tonight as the game is in Atlanta. His minutes have been in the high-thirties and his usage has been in the high-twenties of late.

Terrence Ross ($4900 DK, $5600 FD): Ross has been making a habit of beating up on depleted benches and should continue to do so this evening against a Washington bench led by Jabari Parker. Consider this a GPP play, although the minutes have been there for Ross lately.

Cheap Punt Plays:

PJ Tucker ($3800 DK, $4800 FD): Too cheap for the minutes he is getting. Big part of their current winning streak has been because of Tucker’s defense. Had his best game of the season against Golden State when Harden was out last time these two met (18-10-4).

Andre Iguodala ($4000 DK, $4300 FD): I like Iguodala because of his consistent role. He will always be the leader of the GSW second-unit and has the upside to get late-game minutes due to his defensive tenacity.
