Darcy Kuemper(DK - $7,900 FD - $8,500)
Believe it or not, the Coyotes are currently holding on to the second Wildcard spot in the Western Conference with 12 games remaining. While the offense has come up big lately, a large part of their success has been the goaltending led by Darcy Kuemper. He comes into tonight with wins in eight of his last games while recording an impressive .939 save % on an average of 31 shots against per game. Tonight, he and the Coyotes are -150 home favorites against a Ducks team that is all but eliminated from playoff contention and rank dead last in offense. Fire up Kuemper in all formats.
Also Consider: Martin Jones(SJ)
Ryan O’Reilly(DK - $6,400 FD - $6,700)
He went through a dry spell at the end of February/start of March but has since heated back up for the Blues with points in three of his last four games with 12 shots on goal. It is a bit of a downgrade not having Vladimir Tarasenko in the lineup but the matchup tonight more than makes up for that. He and the Blues face a Senators team that have dropped 11 of their last 12 games and rank dead last in road defense allowing 4.3 goals per game on the season. With a mid $6K price tag on both sites, O’Reilly is in play in all formats.
Also Consider: Sean Couturier(PHI)
Gustav Nyquist(DK - $5,100 FD - $5,300)
After being traded to the Sharks at the deadline, Nyquist got off to a slow start being held off the scoresheet in three straight but has since picked up points in three of his last four games. On top of that, he has also provided some nice shot volume with 32 over his last 10 games. He is also now skating on the second line and powerplay unit and in a matchup against the Panthers 27th ranked defense, he is a terrific PTS/$ value in all formats.
Also Consider: Jake Guentzel(PIT)
Justin Schultz(DK - $4,800 FD - $4,900)
With a ton of injuries to the Pens defense, Justin Schultz has been playing big minutes(23.5 per game over his last 10) and producing for fantasy. He has tallied seven points in his last 10 games but more importantly has given us a very high floor with a combined four or more shots/blocks in four straight and seven of his last nine games. With a price tag under $5K on both sites, he will be a core play for me tonight on defense.
Also Consider: Ryan McDonagh(TB)
