NBA DFS Breakdown 3/23/19

Lots of injury news in Chicago, it’s Dame-Time in Portand, and I’m trusting the Process in Philly. If you have any questions, be sure to join me in the RotoPros Slack Chat. Not a RotoProsmember yet? Get over to the siteand sign up for a FREE one-week trial!

Top-Tier Targets

Damian Lillard ($10,100 DK, $10,800 FD): Lillard has accrued usage rates of 35, 32, and 29.5 in the three games since his battery-mate CJ went down with knee problems. His price is almost where it should be, but I think we can squeeze out one more game of value before it is exactly right. Cash play.

Donovan Mitchell ($8500 DK, $9100 FD): The Bulls are very short-handed again which should lead to plus-matchups across the board for the Jazz. We should root for one of Dunn/LaVine to suit up in order to lessen the likelihood of a blowout. Rubio and Gobert are also in play here, and Markkannen is the most appealing target on the Bulls side of this one.

Other options to consider:

Kevin Durant, Karl-Anthony Towns, Jonas Valanciunas

Mid-Tier Value Picks:

Marvin Bagley III ($6300 DK, $7000 FD): Bagley has racked up a usage rate of north of 30 in two of his last three games, all three of which have been off the bench. His minutes are consistently back above 28/game which is the same upward trend he was showing prior to injury. Giles is questionable for this game which should lead to even more usage and scoring for Marvin.

Thomas Bryant ($4400 DK, $5000 FD): Bryant saw the court for the most minutes in over a month due to matchups and injuries a few days ago and should be in for a similar workload this evening. The Heat are on a B2B as well.

Other options to consider:

Bobby Portis, Delon Wright

Cheap Punt Plays:

Quinn Cook ($3000 DK, $3500 FD): Steph is being rested, and Cook will be receiving a spot-start in his place. Bare-minimum starters are almost always worth a look on DraftKings. Cook averages 29 minutes, 12.5 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists as a starter this season which would easily pay off his salary.

Troy Brown Jr. ($4200 DK, $3500 FD):Brown will most likely receive another hefty workload tonight, and in his only other start this year played 33 minutes while racking up 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. Makes for a good fade candidate in GPP.

Other options to consider:

Tyler Dorsey, Andre Iguodala, Shaq Harrison
