NBA DFS Breakdown 3/28/19

With the NBA in particular the longer you wait and the closer to lock your game theory is, the more accurate and powerful the analysis will be. With late-swap back in the picture, some of the best lineup decisions you will ever make can happen with mere minutes before lock. Top-Tier Targets

Joel Embiid ($10,400 DK, $11,400 FD): Brooklyn is officially the GOAT matchup for Center’s. Embiid is swaggier than ever and has racked up three straight double-double’s for the suddenly vibing-Sixers. Simmons is back tonight but this is too juicy of a matchup for me to fade.

James Harden ($11,100 DK, $12,000 FD): Speaking of GOAT’s, Mr. Harden will have some low-ownership tonight after his last two ‘duds’ which both also happened to be blowouts. Tonight is a great matchup between two of the more exciting teams in the West.

Other options to consider:

Andre Drummond, LaMarcus Aldridge

Mid-Tier Value Picks:

Fred VanVleet ($4800 DK, $5400 FD): Fred is simply too much given the matchup against Mudiay. In a 30-point victory over the Knicks last week Fred managed to put up a double-double in 30 minutes of action which should most likely indicate he is blowout-proof.

Emmanuel Mudiay ($5700 DK, $6600 FD): Averaging around 35 minutes per game along with a very respectable usage rate, Mudiay is firmly in-play for both Cash and GPP tonight as Dennis Smith looks set to miss out.

Other options to consider:

Derrick White, Pat Connaughton

Cheap Punt Plays:

Ian Clark ($3700 DK, $4500 FD): Frank Jackson is going to miss this game, which should promote Ian to the starting five for a very high-paced matchup with the Kings.

Luke Kennard ($3900 DK, $4500 FD): Luke’s minutes have been trending upwards, and he should have a plus-matchup tonight. Hopefully more value opens up as the day progresses, but for now Luke is worth a look in Cash as a low-ceiling, high-floor play.
