Big Ben most recently stopped 41 of 43 shots against a potent Avalanche offense led by superstar Nathan Mackinnon and tonight he gets a much easier matchup against the Sabres and their 22nd-ranked road offense. The veteran tender has won four games in a row while allowing only six goals during that span and the Stars are -210 home favorites so all things considered, Bishop is an elite play in all formats.
Wow, It looks like the Caps’ goalie of the future has taken over the starting job and we can see why as he has been amazing lately. Samsonov earned a shutout last game and has now reeled off eight wins in a row to go along with a 1.62 GAA and a .939 save %. The Caps are massive -305 home favorites this evening and the Devils are ranked 26th in offense so fire up the youngster in all formats and don’t think twice.
TEAMS TO TARGET
The Avs are projected to score 4.1 goals and are ranked third in home offense while the Sharks are ranked 25th in road defense. Of course it all starts with Nathan Mackinnon who has an amazing 68 points and 215 shots so far this season. His line-mate Gabriel Landeskog has two goals, an assist, seven shots, and four blocks in his last two games and Mikko Rantanen, Cale Makar, and Nazem Kadri complete the top PP unit for the Avalanche.
The Caps are projected to score a whopping 4.9 goals and are ranked fifth in home offense while the Sharks are ranked 30th in road defense. Superstar Alex Ovechkin has four goals and 16 shots in his last four games while Jakub Vrana has five goals, two assists, and 19 shots during his current six-game point streak. Nicklas Backstrom, T.J. Oshie, and John Carlson complete the top PP unit for the Capitals.
The Coyote’s winger has two goals, two assists, seven shots, and two blocks in his last two games while playing on the top line and top PP unit. Garland is way too cheap on both sites and is a solid value play in all formats.
The Stars point-man has a goal, an assist, two shots, and 10 blocks in his last three games while averaging 24 minutes of ice-time. Lindell is also way too cheap on both sites and is a great value play in all formats.
