The Capitals are massive -280 favorites this evening against Ottawa and their brutal 27th- ranked road offense and the Capitals are yet again one of the best teams in the NHL. Samsonov has been stellar lately as he’s won six games in a row and is 11-2-1 on the season with a 2.33 GAA and a .918 save %. He is an elite play in all formats. Holtby hasn’t been great lately as he’s lost his last three starts but I’d still be comfortable rolling with him in all formats against the Senators.

I don’t love the matchup tonight against a red-hot Canucks squad but they are still only average as they own the league’s 16th-ranked road offense but Vasilevskiy has won his last five starts and has allowed only one goal in each of his last two games. The Russian tender and the Lightning are huge -210 favorites on home-ice so lock and load in all formats.

Ottawa has been horrible defensively lately as they have allowed 16 goals in their last three games and they own the league’s third-worst road defense. Alex Ovechkin has 40 points in 43 games and has averaged a whopping 4.6 shots per game so far this season. Evegeny Kuznetsov has four goals and three assists during his current five-game point streak and John Carlson, Nicklas Backstrom, and T.J, Oshie completes the top PP unit for the Caps.

The Predators have allowed 21 goals in their last five games and they own the league’s eighth-worst home defense. Superstar David Pastrnak is on an impressive 10-game point streak, he has a whopping 25 shots in his last four games, and leads the league with 30 goals and 15 powerplay goals. Brad Marchand has 63 points in 40 games and 26 shots in his last 10, and Torey Krug, Jake Debrusk, and Patrice Bergeron complete the top PP unit.

I don’t know why this defenseman’s salary has remained this low as his production as been solid lately. Murphy has a goal, an assist, eight shots, and eight blocks in his last three games for the Blackhawks so fire him up in all formats as an excellent value play.

The veteran winger is now a member of the Montreal Canadiens and he was impressive in his first game as he recorded an assist, four shots, and a block. Kovalchuk is playing on the top line and the top PP unit so he is a must play at near minimum prices on both sites.
