Wow, the goalie position is very tough today as we have goalies in tough matchups or they have good matchups but haven’t played well recently. Then, we have Carter Hart who has the Bruins and their ninth-best road offense coming to Philly but he has been absolutely amazing lately. The young tender has won his last seven games and is 9-1 in his last 10 to go along with a brilliant 1.91 GAA and a .934 save %. The Flyers are only slight -120 favorites but Hart is matchup proof right now which makes him a solid play and my top goalie in all formats.

This is one of those goalies in a good matchup against the Devils and their 25th-ranked offense but he hasn’t been great lately. Murray has won two of his last three starts but has given up 13 goals during that span. The Penguins are -180 road favorites this evening against a lowly Devils squad so hopefully he rebounds after last game and gets a win and only allows a couple of goals. Fire up Murray in all formats if for some reason you don’t think Hart will continue his hot streak.

The Pens currently have the highest projected total for goals scored at just over 3.4 this evening and even though they’ve been inconsistent lately, they are in a good spot against the devils and their fourth-worst defense. Sidney Crosby has three goals, three assists and 14 shots in his last four games and Jason Zucker has a goal, four assists and nine shots in his last four. Evgeni Malkin, Patrick Hornqvist, and Kris Letang complete the top PP unit for the Penguins.

The Hurricanes are projected to score just under 3.4 goals this evening and they have a juicy matchup against the Wings and their league-worst defense. Sebastian Aho hasn’t been great lately but he has 63 points and has averaged 3.1 shots on goal so far this season. Teuvo Teravainen has two assists and ten shots in his last four games and Jaccob Slavin, Andrei Svechnikov, and Justin Williams complete the top PP unit for the Hurricanes.

The veteran winger is almost 40 years old and he is starting to heat up later in the season, something he’s done for most of his career. Williams has four goals and a whopping 17 shots in his last three games so lock him and load him in all formats against a horrible league-worst  Wings defense.

The stingy d-man has been producing all-around stats lately as he has two goals, an assist, 10 shots, and nine blocks in his last four games while averaging just under 22 minutes of ice-time per game. Edmundson is way too cheap considering his recent production and is a great value play in all formats.
