James Reimer

The tender from Manitoba is now 12-3 and he has allowed only eight goals in his last four games. This evening, he gets to take shots from the Wings and their weak  29th-ranked defense so fire up Reimer in all formats.

Philipp Grubauer

The German tender has been great lately as he’s allowed only two goals in his last three games. The Ducks and their lowly 30th-ranked offense are on tap for the Avs today so lock and load Grubauer in all formats.

Teams to Target

Colorado Avalanche

The hockey are ranked 14th in offense which is above the league average and the Ducks have allowed a massive 23 goals in their last five games. Things could get ugly quickly here.  Of course, superstar Nathan Mackinnon deserves attention and he has two goals in his last two games and 16 shots in his last three. Mikko Rantanen has a goal, two assists, and nine shots in his last two games, and Gabriel Landeskog completes the top line for the Avs.

Carolina Hurricanes

This is another game that could get ugly quickly as the Canes own the fifth-ranked offense and have won nine in a row, while the Wings are ranked 27th in defense. Also, the Canes own the top-ranked PP unit and the Wings are 29th at killing penalties.  Sebastian Aho has two goals and three assists in his last five games and Dougie Hamilton is on an astounding eight-game point streak and Andrei Svechnikov, Nino Niederietter, and Jordan Stall complete the top PP unit

One-off Value Plays

Janne Kuokkanen

I love the Devils tonight against the Sabres who are now the worst team in the NHL. This young winger is way too cheap considering he plays on the second line at the top PP unit for the Devils. He has a goal in each of his last four games so fire him up in all formats.

Matt Grzelcyk

So we are getting a guy who plays on the top PP unit for the Bruins at these prices? Sign me up please. The young point-man had a goal on eight shots last game. All aboard!
